27TH ANNUAL DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. CELEBRATION

Community Minority Cultural Center (CMCC) would like to cordially invite everyone to the 27th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Legacy and Celebration.

The event will take place on January 21, 2013 at St. Michael’s Hall in Lynn, MA from 8am-12pm.

CMCC IS NOW ENROLLING FOR THE SUMMER PROGRAM!

ENROLLMENT IS OPEN FOR THE SCHOOL AGE ENRICHMENT SUMMER PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AGES 5-12.

STARTING June 18th the program will be open from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Program includes breakfast, lunch, snack, field trips, recreation and much more!

Lead Teacher Position

Program: CMCC School Age Enrichment After School Program

Report: Program Administrator

Job Description

The main responsibility of this position is to work as a team member on the development and implementation of a safe, age appropriate program for the school age children.

Responsibilities:

• Assume the responsibilities of the program when Program Administrator is absent
• Work with Program Administrator on licensing, billing and safety issues, etc.
• Work with lead counselor on lesson plans
• Work with Program Administrator in the development and implementation of academic activities
• Provide overall supervision to staff and volunteers
• Assist ES in scheduling and administrative duties as required including but not limited to, attendance, progress reports and planning implementation of parent conferences
• Perform assigned duties such as supervised snack, clean up time, etc.
• Maintain proper storage of supplies
• Responsible for transportation to and from field trips
• Compliance with EEC training and continuing education requirements, i.e. CPR, First Aid, educational workshops, etc.

The Assistant Counselor will work in a classroom that is designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth needed for school age youth.

Responsibilities:

• Plan activities to stimulate growth in social and educational skills

• Provide, lead and supervise children in multiple activities according to the rules, standards and regulation of CMCC School Age Enrichment program and the Department of Early Education and Care.

For parents who work too early and do not have the time to drop children off at school…

WE CAN DO IT FOR YOU!!!

TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED TO SCHOOLS FROM PROGRAM

Children can be dropped off at program as early as 6:30am!!
